Jessica Sprague is giving away free tuition to her upcoming Photo Editing class. She asked us to post our favorite picture and this is one of my favorite pictures of all time! I love it because I think it reflects the character and strength of my granddaddy. My parents divorced when I was in the first grade and my granddaddy was always there for me. My grandparents lived close enough for me to walk to their house after school and I spent many afternoons sitting and talking with my granddaddy and grandmother. Some of my favorite memories of my granddaddy are of him wearing his jeans overalls and his really cool pocket watch. He could build just about anything and he had even patented a few of his inventions. My granddaddy lived to be 92 and died 5 years ago this month. I still miss him. Also in the picture: my dad holding my niece Ashley and my youngest son Gabe, my granddaddy holding my sons Josh and Zach. We are at my granddaddy's house sitting outside his barn/tool shed.
To enter to win the free tuition go to Jessica's blog and leave a post with your favorite picture.
I'd love to see your favorite picture too!
