I made this page for the weekly Scrapbook Challenge at SCS. One of the challenges was to leave open space around your central image. Well, that was definitely a challenge to me because I love pictures and usually try to put as many as I can on a page! LOL But I love how it turned out! I may have to use this occasionally to highlight a special photo. Oh, forgot to tell you that I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig for the first time!! Very easy to use and huge help with aligning the title (by the way in case you are wondering - the K in Crack is off on purpose!). Finally I folded smaller piece of Not Quite Navy in half and adhered the picture on top and put hidden journaling underneath. It opens like a card. I will just cut a flap on my page protector for easy access.
Recipe: All of the materials are Stampin' Up!
Card stock - Only Orange and Not Quite Navy. Stamps - Sanded background stamped in Real Red over the only orange card stock. I used the Short Order alphabet stamps and a piece of chipboard for the over sized C and the exclamation point.

Hi, Marcie! Great job on keeping that white space as is. I always have trouble leaving white space along 'coz I always have to fill it up! Hehe. Either that or I just have a lousy sense of proportion.
Thanks for the inspiration! Till next time! =)

Nice to finally see a blog page! It has been a while without seeing one! Will check out the course to see if it is still free. Who knows what can I learn?

This would be challenging for me as well. I'm always cramming as many pics on a page as I can.
You did a good job with the challenge. Your page turned out nice! What a fun picture you chose.
